Turkey Meatloaf

This recipe is one of our favorite 'comfort' foods. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, a green veggie and enjoy! This is also great because it can be assembled ahead of time and left in the fridge until ready to bake, just add about 10 more minutes on the baking time.

Ingredients:

1 lb. Ground turkey

2/3 cup of bread crumbs

1 egg

1/3 cup milk (skim)

1/4-1/2 cup of diced onion

1/2 bell pepper diced-or celery, or carrots

Worcestershire Sauce to taste

Salt/Pepper

Garlic powder (I never measure the last 3 ingredients and it always comes out great)

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Use a large loaf pan or square pan to bake the meatloaf.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes (check with a meat thermometer)
  4. Serve with your favorite sauce and veggies. Great as leftovers on sandwiches.
